After thoughtfully tearing down a beloved 50-year-old cabin originally owned by the client’s grandfather, Nor-Son helped create a modern lake home designed to serve generations to come—a meaningful investment in the next 50 years of memories.

The home blends warm lake character with modern design through exposed timbers, a mono-pitched roofline, and creative uses of solid surface materials throughout. Thoughtful details, including an arched pocket door between the kitchen and main living space and custom accent walls inspired by the homeowners’ vision, bring personality to the design. In the lower level, a nostalgic wet bar incorporates salvaged elements and wood countertops, creating a heartfelt connection to the original grandfather’s cabin.
